We were delighted to introduce guests from publications in the UK to our new capsule collection, 'Sweet Treats'. They were given their first glimpse of the palette of warm neutral hues through a selection of activities, including an indulgent dessert experience with award-winning, London-based studio, Kitchen Theory.
‘Sweet Treats’ features honey, caramel and chocolate shades which have been inspired by delicious desserts from around the world. At the event, guests were instantly immersed in the world of ‘Sweet Treats’ through a multisensory dining experience with Kitchen Theory.
Led by acclaimed chef, Jozef Youssef, the experimental kitchen studio created an interactive tasting experience that playfully incorporated elements from the new capsule collection. They served Madeleines, Affogato and Muscovado Brownies, as well as Welsh cakes in homage to the North Wales setting of our paint factory. A selection of dipping sauces were served in Little Greene sample pots, as well as being rolled onto the desserts with mini paint rollers.
After this intriguing taster, our Creative Director, Ruth, presented the capsule collection in full, taking guests through the palette of nine colours including eight brand-new shades. Sample pots of each shade were housed in a beautiful presentation box, inspired by a traditional bakery box filled with tasty, sweet treats!
Once the guests had been introduced to the paint colours, it was time to test them out for themselves. Fully kitted out in protective clothing, they were able to get creative by painting the shades onto canvases. Whether they chose to paint with a brush or channel abstract Jackson Pollock artwork with a more experimental approach, it was the perfect chance to familiarise themselves with each shade and admire the beautiful tonal palette.
