Inside our Paris Showroom at Déco Off
Held each year in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés area of the city, Paris Déco Off offers an opportunity for interior designers, members of the press and design enthusiasts to preview the latest luxury fabrics and wallcoverings from their favourite brands. This prestigious exhibition has signalled the launch of our three previous National Trust Papers collections, and this year, we unveiled the fourth instalment: National Trust Papers IV.
Located at 21 Rue Bonaparte, our Paris Showroom made a statement in the classic Parisian setting, as its exterior showcased two wallpapers from the new collection. Aderyn – Olive Colour and Capricorn- Boringdon were encased in a rich green backdrop of Olive Colour for an elegant yet impactful finish.
Inside, designs from the new collection were displayed inside shelves and niches, as well as being used to wrap books. Visitors could browse the National Trust Papers IV wallpaper books and explore each wallpaper colourway alongside its coordinating paint colours. The showroom team were on-hand to guide them through the collection of eight historic wallpapers, and hand out complimentary goody bags.
Our National Trust Papers IV Press Event
To celebrate the launch, we held an event at the illustrious ‘Angelina’ tea rooms where we introduced members of the press to the collection of wallpapers, derived from National Trust properties across the UK. They enjoyed a selection of French pastries in the magnificent belle-epoque style setting. The table settings featured the ‘Spring Flowers’ wallpaper, with charming bows as place cards, created from different colourways of this Arts & Crafts style design.
Our Creative Director, Ruth, presented the complete National Trust Papers IV collection, sharing the historic background to each wallpaper and how the designs have been adapted for the contemporary interior. She showed the available colourways, from vibrant, contrasting designs to neutral variations, which have been created using paint colours from the Little Greene palette.
