The Shape of Things: Still Life in Britain, Pallant House Gallery

 

Pallant House Gallery in Chichester, West Sussex have used a selection of deep Little Greene shades for their ‘The Shape of Things: Still Life in Britain’ exhibition. Colours like Inox, Arras, Smalt, Vulcan and Basalt create an impactful backdrop that invites viewers through the gallery to explore still life’s rich symbolism.

 

The exhibition will run from Saturday 11th May – Sunday 20th October 2024.

Edo Pop: Japanese Prints 1825-1895, Watts Gallery - Artists' Village 

 

A new exhibition at Watts Gallery - Artists' Village in Surrey features our delicate pink, Confetti

Confetti provides an elegant backdrop which complements the depth and detail of the handcrafted prints. 

The exhibition, Edo Pop: Japanese Prints 1825-1895, celebrates the dynamic history of Edo through intricate Japanese woodblock prints from the private collection of art historian and writer, Frank Milner.

The exhibition will run from Tuesday 19th March – Sunday 6th October 2024.

The Wallace Collection – Ranjit Singh: Sikh, Warrior, King 

The Wallace Collection in London featured Little Greene Bronze Red throughout their exhibition space. 

A deep muted Victorian colour, Bronze Red carries an air of opulence, creating the perfect backdrop to present a selection of exquisite artworks and pieces.  

The exhibition, Ranjit Singh: Sikh, Warrior, Kingexplores the remarkable life and legacy of Maharaja Ranjit Singh (1780 -1839), the founder of the Sikh Empire (1799-1849).

The exhibition will run from Friday 10th April – Sunday 20th October 2024.

Museum of the Home

A selection of vibrant shades were used in the Home Galleries at Museum of the Home in Hackney, London. Colours like Heat, Yellow-Pink, Canton and Celestial Blue invite visitors to explore the collections which consider the concept of home over the last 400 years.

The Brontë Room, Elizabeth Gaskell’s House

Our Brodsworth - Consort wallpaper features in The Brontë Room exhibition space at Elizabeth Gaskell’s House. The Victorian wallpaper works perfectly in the Grade II-listed historic property, which is situated not far from Little Greene HQ in Manchester.

Rebecca Hossack Gallery

The Rebecca Hossack Gallery in London have refreshed their interior design scheme with a selection of Little Greene shades.

Little Greene Colour Consultant, Fay Markopoulou-Meyer selected bold, bright shades to complement the contemporary artwork on display, the gallery used Deep Space Blue, Urbane Grey, Orange Aurora, Inox and Cape Red.

Experience Burnley - Strata: structures, transformation and solidarity

A new exhibition at Experience Burnley by artists Jacob Cartwright and Nick Jordan features our 'Obsidian Green,' a classic off-black colour.

In the 1970s, 'Obsidian Green' provided a dramatic backdrop to natural wood furnishings and khaki.

The exhibition , ‘Strata: structures, transformation and solidarity’, explores themes relating to the region’s social, cultural, industrial and natural histories. The main focus of the exhibition is a video installation, which combines landscape and architectural cinematography with voice-over interviews and archive film, forming an immersive picture of shared experience and collective memory.

Actress, Maxine Peake attended the gallery for the exhibitions launch event, held on the 3rd of February. The exhibition will run from Wed 31st January - Sat 3rd March.

Frans Hals Museum, Holland

The Frans Hals Museum in Holland have used Little Greene 'Dark Bronze Green' throughout their exhibition space.

Collaborating with Little Greene Stockist, De Mooiste Muren, 'Dark Bronze Green,' a dark verdant colour which was originally used to paint Victorian front doors and railings was selected to complement the artwork on display.
