At Little Greene, we proudly make paints and wallpapers in association with the National Trust, rediscovering and recreating the most beautiful colours and patterns from the past from their archive.
Our unique partnership means that colours and wallpapers from our collection are used to decorate many of the National Trust’s historic properties and characterful holiday cottages, elegantly restoring them with a sense of authenticity.

Mustard Pot Cottage
Playfully named after its quirky architecture, Mustard Pot Cottage is situated in the woodlands of the Felbrigg estate. This idyllic Norfolk setting is also home to Felbrigg Hall – a 17th-century English country house which inspired some of our most-loved historic wallpapers, including Bird & Bluebell and Ditsy Block.
Inside Mustard Pot Cottage, a peaceful atmosphere has been created using neutral paint colours, Linen Wash and First Light, which provide a soft, light backdrop. With a little warmth, these shades maximise light retention to create a bright and airy feel that welcomes you inside.

Laundry Cottage
Nestled within the Northumberland countryside, Laundry Cottage is the perfect traditional holiday cottage for a relaxing family break where you can escape into nature. The interior design reflects lush green surroundings, using a myriad of green paint colours like Boringdon Green, Livid and Green Stone – Light on the walls.
Two of the bedrooms are painted in the muted, rosy tone, Blush, which creates a rich, inviting ambience that will soothe you to sleep. For a touch of luxury, the master bedroom incorporates a textural element with the use of our elegant Hencroft – Pink Primula wallpaper, one of seven historic designs from our original National Trust Papers wallpaper collection.

9 Arlington Row
A truly historic find, 9 Arlington Row is situated on a street of charming Cotswold cottages which date back to 1380. Within its quintessential stone exterior, the inside is brimming with character, with two small bedrooms beautifully decorated using Little Greene paints and wallpapers.
In this cottage, the serene blue Celestial colourway of our Hencroft wallpaper offers a wonderfully tranquil feel in the master bedroom. Featured on the wall behind the bed, its stylised cowslip design provides subtle connection with the outdoors, as well as bringing elegance and personality. Celestial Blue is one of the oldest colours on the Little Greene colour card, meaning this shade feels particularly at home in the period setting.
