Little Greene

Little Greene was delighted to help Future Dreams House, a unique breast cancer support centre which was opened in London last year. We were honoured to support Future Dreams in this inspiring project by providing paint in a selection of beautiful Little Greene shades..

Future Dreams was founded by mother and daughter, Sylvie Henry and Danielle Leslie, who felt passionate that nobody should face breast cancer alone. Since launching in 2008, Future Dreams has raised over £8.3m for breast cancer support, awareness and research with a focus on secondary breast cancer. The charity opened the UK’s first specialised breast cancer support centre in October 2021 in London’s Kings Cross making the building easily accessible from all corners of London and beyond.

Visitors can use its range of safe, calming spaces for a variety of purposes, from post-surgery bra-fittings to exercise classes, life coaching and anxiety advice workshops. Calm neutrals and pastel shades such as Acorn, Julie’s Dream and Bath Stone were chosen for an uplifting, peaceful atmosphere. Our Great Ormond Street wallpaper creates an inspiring stairway, while Pink Slip adorns the front of the house.

“The colour palette chosen by Little Greene transformed our building. Each space was carefully considered by their Colour Consultant, ensuring every individual visitor would feel comfortable, safe, uplifted and welcomed. The feedback from over 650 women touched by breast cancer who have visited us since we launched in October has been extremely positive. They all felt the colour palette lifted their mood and enhanced their experiences.” – Sam Moffatt, Architect and Future Dreams Trustee

Future Dreams is one of several breast cancer charities supported by Little Greene. Every October, we are pleased to participate in Breast Cancer Awareness Month, when we donate a portion of our sales to charities that care for those affected by breast cancer.
