At Little Greene, we try to be as environmentally friendly and sustainable as possible. Unfortunately, we do have some waste paint that comes back to our factory - so Re:mix was developed to find a solution and solve this problem.
What is Re:mix?
Our collection of recycled paints, Re:mix will see damaged and unwanted stock expertly blended and reformulated to create a beautiful matt finish for interior walls.
Why choose recycled paints like Re:mix?
Upcycling waste paints to create Re:mix colours allows us to repurpose up to 60,000 litres of high-quality mineral and organic raw materials each year.
What colours and sizes are available in Re:mix?
Re:mix recycled paint is available in 2.5l tins. The collection includes twenty of Little Greene’s most-loved colours. In its initial launch, the Re:mix collection includes twenty shades of upcycled sustainable paint. View the collection here.

Re:mix is a unique Little Greene finish, created from a blend of waste paints. The result is a beautiful matt paint suitable for interior use on walls and ceilings.
Absolute Matt, Intelligent Matt and Intelligent Eggshell are all used to make up a tin of Re:mix. The sheen level is 5%, providing a beautiful matt product, perfect for use all around the home.
Will Re:mix look different to other Little Greene paints?
Re:mix paint comes in a unique tin that is entirely distinguished from the standard Little Greene packaging. The Re:mix tin features artwork by Caroline Dowsett, a Manchester-based artist and maker who previously created an inspiring mural using our paints at The Whitworth Art Gallery.

Is recycled paint cheaper than new paint?
Re:mix recycled paint is available in 2.5l tins for just £28.
Can you recycle any paint?
Paint recycling differs between water-based and oil-based paints. For more details about how to recycle paint, please read our guide to paint recycling.
Can I return my unused paint to Little Greene to be used for Re:mix?
At the moment, we are unable to accept paint returns, as not all paint can be recycled in the same way. Currently, the paint that we recycle to produce Re:mix is taken from damaged stock.
